Certified Ambassador Program

Become someone who delivers "Thank you for being here."
Host Pearl Soap Workshops in your community.

We want to bring the Pearl Soap Workshop experience to as many people as possible. But on our own, there are only so many places we can reach.

That is why we are looking for partners to help us spread the joy.

Certified Ambassadors are authorized to host Pearl Soap Workshops in their own communities. Learn through Zoom training, review with digital content, and connect through the community. You are not a "teacher" but a "co-creator" -- someone who shares the joy of making alongside participants.

An ambassador is not a "teacher" but a "companion"

No special skills are required to host a Pearl Soap Workshop.
What matters is the willingness to enjoy creating together.
Work alongside participants, share in the joy, and experience "Thank you for being here" together.
That is the ambassador's role.

FAQ

Can I do this even if I have never made soap before?
Yes, absolutely. Pearl Soap uses a simple melt-and-pour method with MP soap base. After watching the video tutorials and practicing once or twice, you will get the hang of it quickly. Headquarters provides live online support for your first event, so there is nothing to worry about.
Are there monthly fees or royalties?
No. There are no monthly fees or royalties of any kind. You only pay the one-time initial fee. Participation fees and all revenue from your events are entirely yours.
How much should I charge participants?
You are free to set your own pricing. Material cost per person is approximately ¥500-800. Most ambassadors charge ¥1,500-3,000 after adding venue costs and a margin. Some choose to host free community events.
What kind of venue do I need?
Both indoor and outdoor venues work. Running water and power outlets are not required. Indoor: Community halls, cafes, schools, event spaces, hotel rooms, and more. Even indoor spaces without power outlets work fine with a portable power station. Outdoor: Festivals, markets, and community fairs are all great options. The cassette stove handles heating without any power source, and adding a generator or portable power station enables stable, extended operation.
What is the minimum number of participants?
You can host a workshop with as few as 2-3 people. We recommend starting small (around 5 participants) for your first event. As you gain experience, you can comfortably handle groups of 10-20.
What if I want to stop being an ambassador?
You are free to step down at any time. There are no cancellation fees whatsoever. Any equipment you purchased remains yours, so you can continue making soap for personal enjoyment.
How do I source materials?
You can source materials from the recommended product list (Amazon, etc.). Zoom training covers how to choose the right products in detail, so even first-timers can feel confident.
Can I operate outside Japan?
Yes, international activity is welcome. We already have an ambassador active in Hawaii. English-language manuals are available for overseas use. Equipment can be sourced locally from the recommended list.
